There was a gathering of Citroens at Chez Bob restaurant on July 30. We had 5 Citroens (3 SMs and 2 2CVs) attend – one of the 2CVs came from over 60 miles away! We were hoping for more cars, but it’s been a bad week for Citroens: an SM and a DS went “under the wrench” and my SM wasn’t running well (I took it to a mechanic after brunch). The 11th Annual Neon Cruise, Saturday July 23, was a great success. Over 100 vehicles took part in the Nob Hill Summerfest Show and Shine and Neon Cruise. A restored classic 62 Ford A P D Squadcar led the cruisers west on Central Ave. thru a crowd of thousands at dusk. Destination: Enchanted RV Park {top of 9 Mile Hill on RT. 66} for a drive-in movie under the stars.
