2011 Citroens Meetup at Chez Bob

There was a gathering of Citroens at Chez Bob restaurant on July 30.

We had 5 Citroens (3 SMs and 2 2CVs) attend – one of the 2CVs came from over 60 miles away! We were hoping for more cars, but it’s been a bad week for Citroens: an SM and a DS went “under the wrench” and my SM wasn’t running well (I took it to a mechanic after brunch). Still, it was probably the largest gathering of French cars ABQ has seen in years! A total of 18 people showed (owners and enthusiasts) and enjoyed the cars and the brunch. While there, a couple from Corrales came in all excited – they have a 2CV and were thrilled to meet other Citroen owners. We’re slowly growing our non-club!
