Bob Agnew’s Letter
Dear fellow old car touring nuts,
Spring is almost sprung and it is time again to plan for our old car outings. Before we hit the road you should sign up for a spring checkup at my annual charity event “Spring Thaw”. This event is put on by myself and the Worldwide Automotive / Old Car Garage employees to benefit Cuidando Los Ninos in Albuquerque. This group provides services to homeless families and their children. All proceeds (100%) are forwarded to this organization.
“Spring Thaw” works this way for those of you who have not attended in the past: There are sweet rolls and coffee in the morning and great food and beverages provided for lunch compliments of Bob Agnew and his wife Nancy. The oil filters, oil, and whatever is provided as well by Bob and Nancy’s Worldwide Automotive / Old Car Garage. The employees of both establishments are providing the time and labor to check over your automobile and perform an oil change service as their donation. This gives the owner a chance to view the underside of his vehicle and present any questions at that time of service. This is also a traditional “old car persons” social event that is in its 17th year in Albuquerque. Call Desiree to set your appointment slot for your vehicle(s) at 881-2722. There are limited amounts of time slots of 45 minutes with a 15 minute break between each appointment. We request only that a “generous donation” be made in lieu of the services, parts, food, and good time with other “old car persons”. This is the essence of this great event.
Nancy and I want to thank you all for successes of “Spring Thaw” in the past decade. Your contributions have made a difference in the lives of many less fortunate children and adults in our community.
