The Car Show filled up. The Dawn Patrol was there before the sun came over the mountains. Cars started arriving before 6am, and the lot was full by 10am. There were about 360 cars, trucks and motorcycles on display by then. We were celebrating the 100th anniversary of Chevrolet, and plenty of them came to the show. The Classic Chevy Club and the Duke’s Car Club turned out in force, along with many other Chevrolet owners. Our front three rows had an excellent and colorful display of Chevys from 1928 through 1987, and there were more Chevys scattered around the show. What a turnout! The weather cooperated for the whole day, and we had plenty of fresh air and sunshine, all the way through the awards ceremony.
