The 3rd event of the SWMS 2012 season, Southwest Grand Prix, will take place June 2nd & 3rd, 2012. Event is at NAPA Speedway (formerly Sandia Motorsports Park). The weekend will begin with a “track day” as usual on Friday with opportunities to “test and tune” and tech for the weekend driving events. Check with Napa Speedway for open track times. Saturday will feature the High Performance Driving School, several classes of racing in automobiles and karts, and our dedicated, non-competitive lapping sessions. Sunday will continue all of Saturday’s activities (except for the HPDS) and points will be awarded to the participants to be applied toward overall standings at the end of the SWMS season. This will be a really FUN event! Dont Miss Out! Please come race, lap, go to drivers’ school, show – or just watch. Bring your friends and tell them to bring their special cars to show regardless of make, model, or year. We hope to see you then. |
