Benefits of being an NMCCC member

All non-profit car clubs and car hobby organizations are welcome to join the New Mexico Council of Car Clubs. In return for your lifetime membership fee of $10.00, your club is entitled to three choices of membership. As an active member of the council, each car club is entitled the full range of benefits, is required to have a representative at six meetings in a year and volunteer for the council. As an associate member, the member club is entitled to all benefits, but is not required to have representation or volunteer in exchange for not having voting rights. As a subscription member, the member club will receive only mailings and access to the council’s network. Membership is for everyone in your club. A typical subscription member is usually a club outside of the Albuquerque/Santa Fe area. For further information please fill out this form.

In order to become a member of the New Mexico Council of Car Clubs:

  • Fill out the information on this form is needed for your non-profit club / organization.
  • Once you have completed this form, we will ask you for a $10.00 lifetime membership fee.
  • After that we will list your information in the Member Clubs Directory.
  • Please send a representative from your club to at least one council meeting so we can meet you, see your car, and learn about your club!

  1. Active Member Clubs shall have one vote and be counted in a quorum count. These clubs shall send one of their members as a representative to Council meetings. An alternate may attend in the absence of the regular representative. No club or person shall have more than one vote. Active Member Clubs shall have a representative at a minimum of six regular meetings during each calendar year and shall provide volunteers to assist at Council-sponsored activities upon request. Active Member clubs over 50 miles from Albuquerque who answer correspondence, participate when possible, and attend at least one meeting each year, shall be entitled to a vote but not counted in a quorum. Active Member Clubs failing to meet these requirements shall become Associate Member Clubs.
  2. Associate Member Clubs shall receive the mailings of the Council, may attend meetings, and may participate in Council-sponsored events. They are not obligated to send a representative to Council meetings, serve on committees or provide volunteers, but may do so if they desire. Associate Member Clubs shall have no vote nor be counted in a quorum.
  3. Subscribers receive mailings of the Council, but do not participate in meetings, serve on committees, or participate in activities. Such persons or organizations must apply for and be accepted by a majority vote of a quorum of Active Member Clubs present at a regular meeting. A vote will also be taken at that time if a fee will be charged for this service.
